FDM plc has been named one of Britain’s fastest-growing private companies in the Investec Mid-Market 100 rankings.

FDM plc has been ranked in the 2015 Investec Mid-Market 100 as one of the top 100 performing private companies in the UK.

The Investec Mid-Market 100 provides a ranking of the fastest growing private companies in the UK with a minimum turnover of £10m and EBITDA of £1m. The dynamic ranking is published twice a year and was designed to gain a greater insight into Britain’s high-performing, innovative, medium-sized companies whilst celebrating the very best of the best.

FDM plc is one of only 6 companies on this years list under the Technology & IT Services sector and is the only print and mail company, providing comprehensive document solutions for public and private sector organisations to make the list.

For more than 20 years, FDM has been providing comprehensive bespoke document solutions, driving process improvements and increasing efficiency for clients. The company’s extensive offering includes parking, elections, e-Solutions, and utilities, as well as printing and data services.

Incorporated in 1993, the FDM has become a market leader, and remains acutely conscious of its responsibilities to protect both the environment and the security of clients’ data. Revenues were last reported as £10.5 million in 2014, up by more than a third on the previous year. EBITDA increased more than 360% £1.5 million.

The UK mid-market contributes nearly £1 trillion of revenues annually and up to a quarter of private sector employment in the UK.

“If we had to isolate just one theme it would be that of diversity: the UK mid-market is incredibly varied, both in terms of the geographical spread of companies and the different industries they represent.”
